It is based on the observation of the water fleas (Daphnia magna) behavior changes by means of comparison of movement speed in presence or absence of the toxic substance. The movement of water fleas placed in measuring cells filled with fresh water is scanned and analysed with special software. The same water fleas are placed into the cells filled with tested solution. After time of exposure the cells with water fleas are scanned again. The data of movement speed are evaluated by means of statistic and the change of movement speed of water fleas in tested solution is compared with movement speed in fresh water."@en . . .
