"Interaction between bubbles and particles is a natural phenomenon which plays an important role in many practical processes. One of those examples is flotation. The investigation in this area can be split into two basic directions. The first one is study of mechanisms, which solves separations of two and multicomponent solutions. The second, tody more prefered, way is systematic study of all processes principles in flotation. Though, the flotation is known for more than one century, systemathic analysis of elementary flotation processes began about fifty years ago. Study of separate steps by interactions between bubbles and particles, especially their colissions, encounter or detachment of the bubble is the basic step to understand the essence of flotation and is fundamental for subsequent determine of flotation efficiency and rate constants by the describing of flotation kinetics.
