"PThe paper presents results of the experimental study into the effects of the signalling substance cAMP on the course of DD cells morphogenesis. Natural gene expression, evoked by the periodic propagation of cAMP waves, is substituted by the periodic addition of cAMP into the suspension of cells. Treated cells posses larger amount of receptors sensitive to cAMP which should speed up the organism's morphogenesis. Our findings show that it is true only for the aggregation stage while the stage of a mound lasts about twice as long as in the natural cells. Moreover, the aggregation occurs without propagating cAMP waves and without stream formation. These finding suggest that the gene expression in treated cells differs from that taking place in natural cells."@en . "80-86059-42-1" .
