"The simulation of control of fed-batch process of baker's yeast production is presented in the paper. The control is based on two variables - temperature and substrate concentration in the bioreactor. The optimal growth of microorganisms requires the certain temperature. As the fermentation heat is produced during the cultivation process, it is necessary to cool down the bioreactor. In the course of the cultivation process it is suitable to control the feeding of substrate so that its concentration is kept low. The manipulated variable of temperature control is the flow rate of cooling water in a duplicator and the continuous control is applied. The manipulated variable for maintenance of the certain substrate concentration is a subject of simulation calculations.
