"Image corruption can be very undesirable phenomenon, especially in the applications where images serve as a basic input information. The damage of the pictures can be so significant that it can be impossible to obtain the important information from them - for example the text or other details. The fundamental goal of the image restoration is the improvement of the image quality. Blurring is one of the most common types of corruptions. Presented contribution compares methods of image focusing in the co ordinate system of an image with methods based upon the knowledge of the corruption character - the inverse Wiener filtering. Discrete Fourier transform provides a basic mathematical tool to solve the given problem.
