High production volume chemicals such as perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) and brominated flame retardants (BFRs), the latter represented mainly by polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), hexabromocyclododecanes (HBCDs) and tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA), are obviously the key sources of indoor pollution. The main aims of our study were to adopt an analytical procedure based on MSPD for the simultaneous analysis of BFRs and PFASs in dust (the amount of sample { 0.1 g) and to apply a newly developed multi-analyte method for the examination of real dust samples.
