"The main aim of experiments was to verify a possibility of removing sodium and potassium ions from sugar beet raw juice. A multi-step filtration was carried out involving pre-filtration on ceramic ultrafiltration membranes (MEMBRALOX, France; TAMI, Germany). Permeate obtained by ultrafiltration was treated by two-step nanofiltration using polymeric membranes Nitto Denko (first step) and Filmtec NF 45 (second step). Conditions of nanofiltration were: temperature 60 \u00B0C, pressure 2 - 3 MPa.
