Regarding to steels, they are composed of magnetite (Fe3O4) and in minor amount contain alloying elements (Cr, Ni), eventually in mixed oxides with iron, e.g. spinel FeCr2O4. Their properties are very dependent by conditions of creation. Except temperature, pressure and environment composition, acts surface quality of the material as well. Functional protective layer should be thin enough, coherent and without signs of exfoliation. Within this experimental were performed expositions of heat resistant steel 1.4923 samples under conditions simulating steam turbine environment.
