"Tars from pyrolysis of a brown coal could be re-fined to get compounds suitable for the fuel production. However a refining of liquids from brown coal pyrolysis is difficult because of producing of high molecular compounds what leads to a sample solidification. There-fore we suggested a possibility of the product treatment in gas phase during the pyrolysis using a catalyst. It was suggested a two-step process: the thermic-catalytic refining. In the first step alumina was used and in the second step the catalyst based on W-Ni was used. Alu-mina and the catalyst were placed in layers above the batch of coal, so the volatile products passed through the layers of alumina and catalyst. Pyrolysis tests have shown that using of catalyst improves the gas properties and the properties of organ-ic part from the liquid product which are deter-mined for the further processing."@en .
