These methods enable to enhance share of the energy valuable methane in the produced biogas. For gas purifying are used mainly adsorption on solid materials and mostly are used chemical or physical absorption. Other technologies are having no more technical utilization, for example cryogenic or membrane separation. In a sludge gas or storage gas are impurities occur on the basis of halogenated compounds or organic silicon compounds.
