There are several different methods for the preparation of such photocatalyst. Our group deals with the preparation of TiO2 foam from an aqueous solution of titanylsulphate. The advantage of the preparation of TiO2 foam in comparison with the sol-gel method is that it does not require organic compounds for the synthesis of titanium dioxide. In addition, the preparation is simple and uses cheap raw materials."@en .
