"Graphene based nanomaterials (Graphene oxide - GO) was prepared by oxidation of graphite using chlorate and permanganate ions in the enviroment of concentrated acids. GO was prepared on the based of Brodie, Standenmaier, Hofman and Hummers method. Thhermal analysis of GO exfoliation na subsequent decomposition in oxygen atmosphere was performed by DTA/TG. Graphene oxide prepared by various methods was characterised by AFM, XRD, FT-IR, XPS and Raman spectroscopy. The influence of synthesis procedure on the composition of graphene oxide was investigated. Various methods produce graphene oxide with high differences in composition of oxygen containing functional goups.
