"This paper deals with the preparation of water based paints with epoxide binders which were prepared with the aim to reach self cleaning ability. Paints containing three commercial titanium dioxide photocatalysts P25 (Evonik-Degussa), vlp7001 and uvlp7500 (both Kronos) were exposed to accelerated weathering tests in QUV panel. Photocatalytic activity was determined using Acid Orange 7 as a model compound. It was found that during exposition in QUV photocatalytic activity increases and water contact angle decreases. The highest photocatalytic activity was observed for paints contaning P25 exposed 600 hours in QUV."@en . . . . . . . "3"^^ .
