But nowadays the applications of photocatalysis are expanding to the fields, where different types of substrates are needed (metal constructions, ceramics, enamel) The aim of this work was to study photoinduced properties of TiO2 layers of different types of substrates (stainless steel, aluminium and duralumin) and to compare their properties with layers laid on glass support. Structure and physical composition of the layers was studied by SEM and XRD, TiO2 and SiO2 sols were analyzed by TG and DTA-MS.
