"The presentation is concerned with the dissolution of Kola apatite in phosphoric acid. The close fraction of Kola apatite particles of 0.20-0.25 mm was used. The all experiments were carried out in isothermal mixed batch reactor. For the initial phase of the decomposition the course of the reaction was observed by weighing of nonreacted rest of the solid phase after discontinuing of the reaction. The obtained data were interpreted by shrinking core model. It was found that the value of reaction order increases with temperature from 0.6 to 1.0, value of apparent activation energy proceeds from 67.5 to 75.1 kJ/mol and the initial rate of apatite dissolution in phosphoric acid is approximately 10 times slower than in nitric acid."@en .
