"Metal-contaminated mine wastewater from flooded abandoned mines represent serious problem of natural environment. Mainly copper causes death losses of water plants and animals. This is the main reason for demand for methods, which allow selective copper removal from diluted solutions without any impact to environment. Copper can be removed by various techniques, but complex composition and low concentration made their application problematical. As promising way weak base anion exchange resin with functional groups of the polyamine type Purolite A832 was studied. The process is based on the higher stability of the complex formed between the resin active groups and the metals compared to the stability of the original anionic complexes.
