These routes are currently being designed and managed according to CSN 73 6108 Forest transport network, which is valid since 1996. Its content is outdated, does not match the requirements of other technical or legal standards to which it refers.The present work summarizes the basis for the forthcoming revision of technical standards and examines current requirements for the use of forest roads from the perspective of producers of forest technology, forest owners and carriers.
