"The objective of work was to compare different diluents of bull semen and its influence on sperm survival in AI doses. The commercially produced diluents with different composition were used for this experiment: two extenders with egg yolk (Triladyl\u00AE, Optidyl\u00AE) and two extenders without egg yolk (AndroMed\u00AE, Bioxcell\u00AE). The quality of AI doses after thawing was proved by heated test of sperm survival. Significantly (P?0.05 - P?0.01) higher sperm motility (48.4 \u2013 51.6%) was detected in extenders with egg yolk than in extenders without egg yolk (41.5 \u2013 47.4%). We can conclude in accordance with in vitro results, the egg yolk based diluents are more suitable for cryoconservation of bull semen than diluents without egg yolk."@en . .
