"The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of two types of diet with quantitative and qualitative difference in the amount of starch. Experimental group (E, n=5) was feeded for 8 weeks of training period by doses which had supplyed oats by \u201Esupplementary feed mixture NutriHorse m\u00FCsli PERFORMANCE\u201C. Feeding doses were related to the weight and rate of workload. The differences between groups (C a E) were not extended. Statistical significant decrease (P< 0,05) of LDL cholesterol was detected at the horses of control group (C). 18 hours after exercise was identified a statistically significant increase of HDL cholesterol (P< 0,05) at the horses of group C. Tendency to higher endogenous fat demand at control group was manifested. Other detected parametres were results of training period. Feed rations were in accordance with the type of exercise and nutritional demand of horses.
