"The aim of this work was to investigate the impact of different fertilizing systems on changes of extractable sulphur and arysulfatase activity in the plant rhizosphere of winter wheat, oil seed rape and white lupin. The experiment was prepared in rhizoboxes situated in the climate box. The soil from the long-term stationary experiment (cambisol Lukavec) with different fertilizing systems (unfertilized treatment, manure treatment, sewage sludge treatment) was used. The arylsulfatase (ARS) activity was higher in the rhizosphere of rape and wheat compared to bulk soil. The opposite was true for lupin. It was acknowledged that the ARS activity is higher on treatments with organic fertilizer compared to unfertilized control treatment. ARS was the highest with wheat and the lowest with lupin.
