'Pirouette' a 'Ronni' (DLF-Trifolium) in mixture with perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) was established at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University experimental farm Højbakkegaard in Taastrup to found out the effect of nitrogen fertilizing on DM weight of white clover and ryegrass. The field trial was a split-plot design which included all combinations of five N rates (0, 50, 100, 150, or and three seed mixtures. Seed rate was adjusted to 2.5 viable seeds cm-2 in all plots. The three seed mixtures were: 1) 100% perennial ryegrass cv. \u2018Tapiola\u2019, 2) 75% perennial ryegrass cv. \u2019Tapiola\u2019 and 25% white clover cv. \u2019Pirouette\u2019 (49,7 g.m-2 + 5,7 g.m-2), 3) 75% perennial ryegrass cv. \u2019Tapiola\u2019 and 25% white clover cv.
