Under the controlled conditions, both dry and wet decomposition techniques are comparable in their performance. Recently, modern, automated laboratory equipments for both decomposition techniques are developed and introduced to the market. Evidently, the choice of suitable decomposition method depends on financial possibilities, and experience of laboratory staff of individual analytical laboratories as well as on traditions and usages of these laboratories.
