The most species found are European in distribution (16 species,42.1 %), followed by temperate and South European (8 species, 21.1 %), Holarctic or probably Holarctic (4 species, 10.5 %), Eurosiberian, temperate and North European and West Palaearctci species have equally 2 species (5.3 %). The most species of the family Lauxaniidae found here belong to the common representatives of the family in the Czech Republic. Relativelly rare are Lyciella vittata and Peplomyza intermedia, the latter species published for the first time in Bohemia from the above materials (MARTINEK, 1997a). Most species found are sciophilous and psychrophilous, occurring mainly in forests (Lyciella rorida, L. illota, L. vittata, L. affinis, L. decipiens, Aulogastromyia anisodactyla, Tricholauxania praeusta).
