The analysis focuses on the current development on the world sugar market and takes into consideration the price development of the raw and refined sugar. The sugar price is a very volatile for both raw and refined sugar as well. The sugar price depends on a lot of factors, such as growing demand for sugar, higher amount of sugar cane and sugar beet which is being requested from the fuel and energy industry. We have witnessed a significant growth of production which was accompanied by increasing prices in the last years.
