Cambisol from long-term experiment with different fertilizing system (unfertilized control, manure and sewage sludge treatments) was used for these experiments. The higher portion of inorganic phosphorus in soil received sewage sludge was determined in contrast to manure treatment. Long-term application of manure and sewage sludge increased phosphatase activities in soil. Significantly higher activities of acid and alkaline phosphatases in the rhizospheres of wheat and rape were evident in contrast to a bulk soil. These results were not confirmed in lupine rhizosphere. The higher activity of acid phosphatase in rape rhizosphere was found in contrast to wheat and lupine.
