"The level of pre-harvest sprouting determined using the Falling Number was assessed in the collection of 13 barley varieties from 23 selected testing stations in the years 2010 and 2011. In 2010, the Falling Number values varied around 202 seconds, in 2011, around 234 seconds. It was determined that the Falling Number values were affected by the year, the variety, locality and other factors are affected, from 7%, 37%,14%, and 42 %, respectively.
