P\u0159i pr\u00E1ci na t\u00E9to problematice jsme se op\u00EDrali o koncepci st\u00E1tn\u00ED jazykov\u00E9 politiky \u010Cesk\u00E9 republiky a o pojet\u00ED internacionalizace ve vzd\u011Bl\u00E1n\u00ED na vybran\u00FDch fakult\u00E1ch technick\u00E9ho zam\u011B\u0159en\u00ED. Pro \u0159e\u0161en\u00ED vymezen\u00E9ho probl\u00E9mu byla zvolena kvantitativn\u00ED metoda, a to dotazn\u00EDkov\u00E9 \u0161et\u0159en\u00ED. Vzhledem k tomu, \u017Ee se n\u00E1m pro tuto oblast zkoum\u00E1n\u00ED nepoda\u0159ilo naj\u00EDt adekv\u00E1tn\u00ED dotazn\u00EDk, bylo nutn\u00E9 ho vypracovat. Na z\u00E1klad\u011B statisticky zpracovan\u00FDch dat je mo\u017En\u00E9 konstatovat, \u017Ee respondenti up\u0159ednost\u0148uj\u00ED aktivn\u00ED znalost dvou ciz\u00EDch jazyk\u016F (jedn\u00EDm z nich by m\u011Bla b\u00FDt angli\u010Dtina). V\u011Bt\u0161ina z nich klade mimo\u0159\u00E1dn\u00FD d\u016Fraz na povinnou v\u00FDuku odborn\u00E9ho jazyka. Velkou podporu m\u00E1 z jejich strany v\u00FDuka \u0161ir\u0161\u00ED \u0161k\u00E1ly ciz\u00EDch jazyk\u016F v r\u00E1mci nepovinn\u00E9ho studia. "The paper is aimed at the attitude of heads of language centres to teaching foreign languages in Bachelor study programmes of Czech technical faculties. It is related to one of the sub-problems, which was explored in the doctoral thesis focused on language curriculum development in non-philological institutions of higher education. The solving of the sub problem was based on the concept of the state language policy of the Czech Republic at the tertiary level as well as on the concept of internationalization in education at selected technical faculties. In empirical research, a quantitative method was used. As we did not manage to find any adequate questionnaire, it was necessary to construct it. Based on the statistically processed data, we might claim that the respondents prefer active knowledge of two foreign languages (1 of them is English). Most of them put particular stress on compulsory teaching of language for occupational purposes. They strongly support teaching of a wider range of foreign languages in the form of optional subjects. Regarding their subordinates, they value positively their relation to work and workplace atmosphere, which is characterized by mutual trust and willingness to work in a team."@en .
