"For the muzzles diagnosis there is the development of robotic head as project %22D\u011ALO%22. One of the mode of diagnosis is to compare the scans of inner muzzle surface. The main condition for this is the proper measuring of robotic head position in muzzle. The direct measuring i not practical due to the great length of muzzle. In this paper the possible radar method of head position measuring are analyzed. From the muzzle shape point of wiev the cylindrical resonator method had been chosen.
