"Temperature dependence of absorbed energy at impact test in bending is most often described by the function of hyperbolic tangent type. The contribution proposed many other regression functions allowing the description of transitive curves of many shapes: asymmetric, non-monotonous, curves with varying curvature in its bends etc. Its analytical expression is chosen like that each of its parameter has unambiguous and clear technical or geometrical meaning (e.g. transitive temperature, transitive region width, lower and upper self of transitive curve, slope of upper shelf, asymmetry parameter, curvature parameter etc.).
