"The integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic and the rescue system in the Republic of Slovenia were analyzed and compared. Since the both countries are the EU and NATO member, more homogeneous picture was expected. Despite some ambiguities; i.e. legislation and armed forces involvement, a quite similar problem exists in both systems. The mentioned can be summarized in depicted areas and may be considered being critical for both compared rescue systems in relation to civil protection: 1) Legislature 2) Communication (early warning and reporting system) 3) Technical equipment), 4) Coordination and Responsibilities. All the depicted areas are described more in the details in the forthcoming paper. Nevertheless, some serious improvement and enhancement of the Slovenian and Czech rescue system could be recommended." . "4"^^ . . "2"^^ . "Economics and Management" . .
