"Credit system has become an integral part of tertiary education in Czech Republic. In this context, the Faculty of Economics and Management represents no exception. The Faculty\u00B4s BSc. and MSc. degree programs structure is based on a credit system where one credit corresponds with students\u00B4 workload in the scope of 26 hours. In this respect, the credit system implemented in military study fully corresponds with the underlying principle of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). In other words, it enables to measure the difficulty and extent of the curricula of the program as well as individual courses and compare them with those of other universities with ECTS compatible credit system both in the Czech Republic and abroad.(The paper examines what functions the credit system has within a military bachelor degree pro-gram of the Faculty of Economics and Management, University of Defence in the context of development of European higher education area." .
