"The scientific community seriously discusses whether the hygienic limits set in the European Parliament are justifiable with regard to the risk assessment resulting from exposure to electromagnetic waves in frequencies f = 3.1011 Hz. The liit setting process considers exclusively thermal effects for the frequencies f [Hz] 105; 3.1011 and the effect on cardiovascular and nervous system for the frequencies f = 107 Hz. The paper summarizes the findings of significant studies aimed at long-term effects of electromagnetic radiation and fields of under-limit values on people. Difficulties connected with the verification of such effects on a statistically significant level are also discussed together with the current hygienic limits which are compared with the analogical standards while considering the aspect of their electromagnetic compatibility. The authors come to the conclusion that it is reasonable to consider the preliminary precaution principle during the analysis of exposure situations."@en . "1"^^ . . .
