Clear water phasis was a dividing period between the winter/spring and summer/autumn assemblages. Summer maxima were represented by three types of dominants: 1. Diatoms +- dinoflagellates and cryptomonads (Fragilaria crotonensis, Ceratium hirundinella) 2. Cyanobacterial water blooms (Microcystis flos-aquae, Anabaena sp.d., Aphanizomenon) and 3. Desmid Staurastrum planktonicum +- cyanobacteria Microcystis flos- aquae. Dominance of diatoms and cryptomonads was supported by discharge from upper horizons of the reservoir what prevented the sedimentation of diatoms. Dominance of cyanobacteria developed in quiet epilimnium in temperatures > 20 C while Staurastrum predominated in lower temperatures. CANOCO was used as a tool for statistical analysis."@en . .
