"This contribution deals with problematic of distribution of selected elements Cu, Cd, Fe, Mn, Pb a Zn in the parts of plant (root, stem, leaves, inflorescense) of amaranthus - genotypes Miraf, Don Armando, Draedicus, K 283, Montana 3 a Montana 5 a nd their contents in soil. From reading was calculated transfer factor (TF) of investigate elements in the different parts of plants (root, stem, leaves, inflorescense) of amarantus. The analysis of TF value indicate very low value for Fe (0,01-014), forPb (0,03-0,5) medium value for Mn (0,08-2,38) and Cu (0,47-2,89), high in case Zn (17,8-54,3) and Cd (6,9-47,3). Monitoring of element contens in the overground and subsurface parts of plants (expresion in mg element / kg dry matter) indicated the highe r accumulation Cu (6,6-10,7) in inflorescense, Mn (339-731) Zn (139-406) and Cd (2,4-14,4) in leaves, Fe (270-307) in inflorescense, Pb (1,7-5,9) in leaves and Fe (256-348) and Pb (1,9-3,4) in th roots of corporate genotypes.
