"Small and medium-sized enterprises are the driving force of economy not only in the Czech Republic, but also throughout the world. They are the core resource of job opportunities, create business spirit and innovations and are critical for support of competitiveness and employment. This paper deals with process management of small and medium sized enterprises focused on human resource management. The long term of this process forming is currently highly emphasized. This process forming should be co-created by need of active attitude of employees not only towards their own work tasks, but also towards organizational goals and business environment. The enterprise has to fulfil its goals to become successful via balance between strategic direction of the organization and human resource management. The aim of this paper is to analytically describe process of human resource management in small and medium sized enterprises located in South Bohemian region with focus on correlation between strategies, business goals and scope of business.
