"The contribution emphasizes the significance of the regional culture and its influence on the corporate culture. On an example of two companies with headquarters in the same town/region and with the aid of Hofstede's cultural dimensions the determinants of thinking, social behaviour and work action of particular culture members were identified and discussed. The survey revealed strong similarity of cultural dimensions of two chosen companies and therefore it can be concluded that the corporate culture strongly reflects the regional culture. The results enable management to form intentionally the corporate culture and optimize the human resources management."@en .
