"The paper deals with corporate social responsibility in a specific area of small and medium sized enterprises located in Havl\u00ED\u010Dk\u016Fv Brod district. Corporate social responsibility represents inclusion of economic, social, and environmental aspects to the corporate praxes. This idea is global advocated as a way of sustainable development. Although, corporate social responsibility is usually connected with large companies, small and medium ones represent suitable area for its success. The aim of this paper is to describe and analyze level of involvement surveyed small and medium sized enterprises within corporate social responsibility. The main data will be obtained by quantitative method of electronic questioning on the random sample of 100 surveyed enterprises within grant project GAJU 047/2011/S-Dal\u00EDkov\u00E1. The results were compared with research by Trnkov\u00E1 (2004). The results pointed to the growing interest of corporate social responsibility even of small and medium sized enterprises. On the other hand, this problematic is still not well understood and applied.
