"The study deals with student teachers? concept of the teacher profession content. Briefly discusses the issue of professional identity and its core ? subjective theory of teaching. Report on research of 1st, 3rd and 4th year students? concept of being a teacher follows. Projective 20-statement test was used for data collection and content analysis was applied on student utterances.
