The essential assumption of art therapy of this sort is the existence of analogy between person's art expression and his or her disorder of symptoms (the art expression is a metaphor). The aim of therapeutic process is a shift in children's art production, as this maturation is assumed to be a metaphor of the therapeutic change. The core of therapeutic process is realigning unconscious psychodynamic. This could finally contribute to subsiding of symptoms. The change of content, form and eventually other attributes of art expression, is related to modification of the acuteness of clien\u0165s problems, and their impact of his/her experience of his/her problematic.
