"Goat's milk is very valuable and desirable food for their high digestibility and unique composition. It contains only a small amount of milk protein casein and is therefore suitable for people with allergies to casein. Fatty acid profile of goat milk is significantly different from other ruminant's milk. There is also more unsaturated fatty acids than in cow's milk. The aim of this study was to assess the influence of added flax seed on monounsaturated and polyunstaturated fatty acids concent in the goat's milk. Two groups of goats were fed ad libitum intake of meadow hay and concentrate, which for the experimental group contained 0.1 kg of linseed. The experiment lasted two months with a 14-day preparatory phase. The results of the analyzes of the experimental group showed a positive effect on increasing content of MUFA, and also increasing content of PUFA.
