A significant risk is the contamination of feed by fungi or mycotoxins, which may have significant negative effects on animal health, which the contaminated feeds eat. How to fight with fungi and micotoxins is difficult and not all ways are effective. One option how to protect products is to use the low-temperature plasma. Till today there has not been in detail examined the effect of this method, the protein composition of the treated grain. Any negative impact on the composition of essential amino acids in the future meant a significant limitation of use of this promising method.
