"The aim of this study was to assess the appropriateness and usefulness of fertilization of experimental grazing areas and its effect on nutrient content observed in the pasture vegetation in these areas. To assess when is grazing in terms of nutrients and fiber content for cattle the most appropriate. Compare the results obtained on the nutrient content observed in the pasture vegetation, with optimal values. For a basic evaluation of the nutrient content in pasture samples was used the method of NIRS with device InfraXact. InfraXact works on the principle of reflectance and transflectance close to infrared range (NIR) at wavelengths from 570 to 1850 nm. This method can determine the content of basic nutrients in the feed in a few minutes. The results show that fertilized grazing areas have higher nutrient content, but use of fertilizers is not necessary, if pastures are used for animal breeding."@en .
