In samples of thyroid glands weight were detected and morphometric measurements were performed. Statistically significant differences were in weight of thyroid glands among cows and bulls (cows 55.15 ? 35.52 g, bulls 33.28 ? 8.12 g). Positive correlation (r = 0.33) was between age of bovine and weight of thyroid gland. The average size of follicles of thyroid glands of cows was 147.14 ? 97.39 \u03BCm and of bulls 182.19 ? 99.48 \u03BCm. Significant difference (P <0.05) was in the size of small follicles (cows 58.96 ? 11.81 \u03BCm, bulls 31.33 ? 7.24 \u03BCm).
