"Dicotyledons plant (Plantago lanceolata) were added into a meadow hay for goats in amount of 10 %, during the period of year 2008. Experimental animals were presented by the group of eight goats of brown shorthaired and white shorthaired breed. In the first duration of test, there was feeded 6,25 kilograms of meadow hay and second experimental duration 6,25 kilograms of meadow hay with 10 % aliquot of Plantago lanceolata were added. In the third duration of test, there was feeded 6,25 kilograms of meadow hay. Remains of hay were weighted after 4 and 8 hours. The mean consumption of meadow hay with 10 % of Plantogo lanceolata after 8 hours was taller by 44 % than the mean consumption of the own mean hay. By feeding the meadow hay with Plantago lanceolata amilk composition was observed. Only in case of dry matter without fat, there was a statistical difference between experimental and control group.
