"The actual cultivars of wheat are greeded to be suitable for intensive farming. On the contrary, yield and quality of organically grown crops are influenced by the interaction of genotype and environment. Therefore, not all the actual cultivars are suitable for organic farming. This work is aimed to asses the pertinence wheat austria genotypes for ecological agriculture in Czech Republic. In years 2004 - 2005 were established samll-area experiment at locality in \u010Cesk\u00E9 Bud\u011Bjovice using for winter wheat genotypes (Capo, Belmondo, SE 407/50, SE 314/05). The result section is aimed on the evaluation postharves samples - plant lenght, tiller number, spike number, spike lenght, coefficient of productive tillering, grain number per spike, thousand grain weight and theoretical and real yield of grain. The grain yields of winter wheat were relatively high, all the yield parameters (spike number, grain number per spike and thousand grain weight) were on corresponding level.
