(LWxL)x(LWsxPn) hybrids had the lowest backfat thickness (22,91 mm) while differences from the other combinations were statistically highly significant; this combination also had the highest lean meat content measured either instrumentally (56,46 %) or by the two-point method (55,90 %). Barrows of the examined set were slaughtered at average live weight 110.73 kg, the slaughter weight of gilts was lower by 5.5 kg (statistically highly significant difference).
