This paper focuses only on the use of nursing documentation and nursing classification systems. The research carried out quantitative research using questionnaires, which were focused on the knowledge of nurses in the field of classification systems and conceptual models. Next aim was to determine the extent to which nurses are satisfied with the current nursing documentation used within their department. The research sample consisted of selected nurses working in 7 hospitals of South Bohemia in the Czech Republic. The set was made up of nurses working on standard units, but also in intensive care units. The results point to the fact that nurses do not have knowledge of nursing classification systems and they would welcome an electronic form of nursing documentation. The aim of our grant investigation is to create a nursing documentation respecting the specifics of standard departments and ICU departments. This nursing documentation will also include standardized classification systems." . . . "12110" . "1"^^ . "[F21BEB276999]" . "RIV/60076658:12110/11:43882330" .
