"The work deals with problems of evaluation mechanical properties of thin wear resistance layers TiCN deposited by PVD, CVD, PACVD respectively. The thickness, roughness and chemical constitution of layers was analysed. The results of nanoindentation measurements are discussed. The measurements of tribological properties were provided by high temperature tribometer using method pin-on-disc. The friction coefficient and wear resistance were monitored.
