"This research report deals with possibilities of RFID readers use, person and vehicle movement sensors and sensors of the railroad crossing for traffic purposes. These types of sensors can dramatically reduce accidents on crossings. Research report presents the basic functions of particular equipments for short coverage, their structures and basic parameters including the necessary technology requirements for their production. There were designed different application variants for automatic vehicles identification in the area of the RFID readers. Development of person and vehicles movement sensors was designed as a part of the complex system for warning drivers in front of crossing.
