"This thesis is focused on the design of equipment for testing of electronic control units (ECUs) connected via LIN bus. The equipment can stimulate inputs of ECUs and monitor the communication on the LIN bus. As the control and evaluate computer is used PC and with equipment is connected via serial interface RS232. The 1st section describes LIN bus communication protocol. The next section is focused on realised hardware of testing equipment based on microcontroller ATmega162 and on controlling software application running on PC.
